Château La Nerthe Châteauneuf-du-Pape Rouge 2021, from winemaker Rémi Jean in the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation of the Southern Rhône, is a stunning expression of classic Rhône soul. Composed of Grenache (39%), Mourvèdre (33%), Syrah (25%) and a hint of Cinsault, it offers an inviting bouquet of ripe black cherries, wild berry, Provençal garrigue and a touch of forest herbs. Full-bodied yet graceful, its fine, velvety tannins are balanced by good acidity and warm, chewy structure, finishing with pepper and minerality.
