Château La Nerthe Les Cassagnes de La Nerthe Côtes-du-Rhône Blanc 2023, from Rémi Jean at Château La Nerthe in the Rhône Valley, is a beautifully poised white blend. Grapes - chiefly Viognier, Roussanne, Grenache Blanc and Marsanne - deliver aromas of ripe pear, white peach, honeysuckle and gentle citrus with a whisper of white flowers. On the palate it is medium-bodied, textured with fine lees, lively acidity and a fresh minerality that gives grip and structure.
