The ABC Chardonnay grows on one hectare of vines on the home vineyard. This small plot faces east on a gentle slope, and the vines are rooted in sandstone, ironstone and quartz-rich clay soils. The fruit was picked by hand and pressed as whole bunches to large-format oak for fermentation.
