Cool climate Beaujolais from the granite-strewn hills of Chiroubles. It’s a particularly cool high altitude spot with unforgivingly shallow topsoil that forces the forty year old vines to dig deep into the rocks. The resulting wine is strikingly perfumed with a cool minerality and fine rocky tannin.
