This cuvée is characterised by flavours of wild berries and liquorice over deep, forceful tannins - combining the freshness and structure that are so typical of Côte Rôtie. Mineral- and spice-accented blackberry, cherry compote and violet on the deeply perfumed nose. Shows superb depth as well as energy on the palate, offering sweet blackcurrant, cherry and candied violet flavors that are complemented by smoky bacon and cracked pepper nuances.
