Dominique Portet Fontaine Rosé 2024, from winemaker Ben Portet in the cool-climate Yarra Valley (Victoria), is a pale salmon Provence-style rosé blend of 55% Merlot, 35% Cabernet, 10% Shiraz. It shows lifted aromas of peach, strawberry, watermelon and blossom, with a dry and crisp palate framed by mouthwatering acidity. The mid-palate brings nectarine, pink grapefruit and red berry flavours with a refined texture from lees stirring, and a long, clean finish.
