It pours a vibrant ruby red, exuding aromas of redcurrant, plum, blackberry, tobacco leaf, cooking herbs, and anise spice. On the palate, plush spiced plum and redcurrant jelly are layered with thyme, bay, liquorice, ground coffee, and dark-chocolate spice, all held together by silken tannins and fine structure.
