Geoff Merrill “Pimpala Road” Chardonnay 2022, Geoff Merrill Wines, McLaren Vale & Coonawarra shows crisp, approachable Chardonnay done well. The wine is a light straw hue with fresh green highlights. On the nose there are nectarine, lime, apple, rockmelon and fresh‑cut straw notes with subtle vanillin oak. The palate is zesty and vibrant, offering stone fruits and gooseberry, finishing clean with citrus tang and just enough oak to frame rather than dominate.
