Super savoury and spicy, this is an unusual red blend of the Iberian grapes Touriga Nacional and Graciano, sourced from the excellent Bosworth vineyard in McLaren Vale. Hearty, meaty even, but not in a rich and syrupy style. It's more in the vein of a rustic Italian or a Portuguese bistro red. An atypical McLaren Vale red but that is kind of what In Praise of Shadows is all about.
