Kenzie Tearz White Noir from Dave Mackintosh in Hawke's Bay captivates with boundary-pushing creativity, blending 85% whole-bunch Mangatahi Pinot Noir and 15% Chardonnay from ancient river terraces of greywacke sandstone, volcanic ash and silt loams that hum with Kiwi tension. This low-sulphur skin-contact sensation, wild-fermented then rested in old puncheons for four months, bursts forth unfined and unfiltered, a white noir revolution of chillable intrigue.
