Koerner Mammolo Sciacarello 2023, by Damon & Jono Koerner in the Vivian Vineyard, Clare Valley (black & red clay over limestone), is a singular delight. This 100% Sciacarello shows light-garnet hues and bursts with scented red cherry, pomegranate and rose-hip tea, lifted by cooling spice and herbal notes. The palate is finely structured yet ethereal - ultra-fine tannins, vivid acidity and a mineral edge with crushed rock and saline undertones. Scored 94 points by The Wine Front, it offers superb freshness and finesse.
