What a great discovery this is! The small estate (six hectares) of Isabelle and Jérémy Decoster Coiffier, in Bugey, is a mine of pretty canons. Working organically, avoiding inputs, apart from, if necessary, sulfur in minimal doses, they produce very pure and fresh wines. Mérune 2022 comes from a blend of equal parts Chardonnay-Altesse aged for nine months on lees in fiber vats.
