Mada Syrah Nouveau 2023 is a bright, chillable Canberra District red made as a “summer‑loving” syrah with tons of juicy fruit and almost no edges. It’s picked relatively early, fermented mainly as whole berries with a touch of carbonic maceration, then matured briefly in neutral oak and/or ceramic so it stays fresh and vibrant rather than oaky. In the glass, expect jubey red fruits, mixed berry roulade, raspberry, cherry and a little plum, with hints of violets and gentle spice.
