The Montalto Pennon Hill Pinot Gris 2024, crafted by Chief Winemaker Simon Black in the Mornington Peninsula (Tuerong & Red Hill sub-regions), is a vivid and textural white. On the nose there’s ripe Nashi pear, green apple, talc, beeswax and a touch of sherbet. The palate reveals crisp green apple and lemon flavours, grounded by warm ground spice, limestone acidity and an intriguing saltbush minerality that lifts the finish.
