It is made as two clonal expressions in the Colour Series range, the darker, more robust Pinot Noir 777 and the brighter, more delicate Pinot Noir MV6. The 2023 Colour Series Pinot Noir 777 is medium bodied and more muscular in style, with black cherry, kirsch, savoury spice, vanilla and cedar, plus good colour and structure from the Burgundy 777 clone. Fine, round tannins and soft acids make it versatile at the table and suitable for cellaring 6-8 years.
