Provenance Geelong Shiraz 2023 by Provenance from Geelong shows black and red cherries mingled with licorice, cracked pepper, roasted nuts and sweet oak spice. Aromas of blackberries, olive tapenade and herb shadings rise from the glass, and silky textured tannins frame a medium-weight palate balanced by fresh natural acidity, finishing long, refined and elegant. It was awarded 95 points by both Campbell Mattinson and Philip Rich.
