Wangolina Shiraz Cabernet 2023. Mt Benson is a classic Aussie blend with a coastal twist, bringing together juicy Shiraz plushness. Cabernet’s black-fruited backbone in a medium-full, easy-drinking style. You can expect dark cherry, blackberry and plum from the Shiraz, with blackcurrant, bay leaf and a gentle leafy note from the Cabernet. On the palate it should sit comfortably medium-bodied, with ripe dark fruit, a little chocolate and spice, fine but present tannins and a fresh line of acidity that reflects the Limestone Coast influence.
