Carnuntum is the regional red blend from pioneering female winemaker Dorli Muhr, a blend of about two thirds the native variety Blaufrankisch, and one thirds Syrah. It's a pure, invigorating wine with fantastic red berry fruit and pepper aromatics and phenomenal acid drive. Could easily be mistaken for a high-toned Cabernet Franc.
