This 2023 Yabby Lake Single Vineyard Pinot Noir walks that sweet spot between elegance and quiet power. The nose is lifted and complex with damson plum, wild raspberry, redcurrant and blood orange, layered with potpourri, violets, dried herbs, five-spice and a touch of smoky reduction. The palate is medium-bodied and silky, showing coiled intensity, red fruits, cherry and chinotto spice wrapped in fine-grained tannins and bright acidity, tightening and gaining depth as it opens in the glass.
